the fire.
Sliding tile board. Use the arrow keys, W A S D, or swipe. Equal tiles merge; a prism doubles the tile it slides into.

You know how 2048 works. Slide, merge, survive. Ember adds one thing: a prism — a tile with no number that dissolves into whatever it touches and doubles it. Feed it a 512 and you are suddenly holding a 1024.
Then there is the ritual: one seeded board a day, identical for every player on Earth, resetting at midnight UTC. Same luck, different nerve.
closes in --:--:--The one new rule
Everything your fingers already know still applies. This is the only addition — and it changes how you plan three moves ahead.
Slide & merge
Arrow keys, WASD, or swipe. Equal neighbours fuse, points land, a new tile appears. Three undos per solo board, none in the ritual.
Prisms double
Every ninth spawn a prism appears. Push it into a tile and that tile doubles — a free merge with no partner required. Save it for your biggest number.
The daily ritual
One seeded board per day for the whole world, one attempt each. Everyone gets the same tiles at the same time. Streaks carry. Bragging rights are time-stamped.
Every finished run also has a seed, so you can send someone the exact board you played and see what they do with it.
